Starting primary school is an exciting step for any family. Our Open Mornings and School Tours give prospective parents and carers the chance to see Gorsey Bank Primary School in action, learn more about how we support children from the very beginning, and get to know our school community.
These events are for families with children due to start Reception in September 2027.
Open Mornings
Our Open Mornings are a chance to experience the school during a typical day and learn more about how we support children as they begin their school journey.
We will be holding three Open Mornings for parents and carers considering applying for a Reception place at Gorsey Bank in September 2027:
- Friday 10th July 2026
- Friday 2nd October 2026
- Friday 13th November 2026
Each Open Morning will begin at 9.30am.
During your visit you will have the chance to see learning taking place in classrooms, hear from the Head of School about life at Gorsey Bank, and meet members of our Leadership Team and pupils. There will also be time for questions and to find out more about joining Reception.
Parking is available on local streets; please allow a little extra time to find a space and be considerate of our neighbours.
Booking is essential so that we can keep groups to a comfortable size. Click the button below to select your chosen date.
School Tours
Our School Tours offer a more informal way to look around the school and are ideal if you would prefer a smaller group visit or are unable to attend an Open Morning.
Tours are led by Mrs Bell, Associate Head of Gorsey Bank, and take place at 9.30am on the following dates:.
- Monday 8th June 2026
- Monday 22nd June 2026
After these dates, tours will run every Monday from 28th September to 30th November 2026.
Parking is available on local streets; please allow a little extra time to find a space and be considerate of our neighbours.
