Welcome to Reception

Our teaching team includes Mrs Ellender, Ms Harwood and Miss Hopkins (Class Teachers) and Miss Stewart and Mrs Niven (Teaching Assistants).

We would like to extend a special welcome to our new children and their families!  The Reception year is a very special part of your child’s school journey. We strive to provide a unique, challenging and inspirational curriculum based on new and memorable experiences.  Establishing strong relationships with our pupils and their families is our priority at the beginning of the school year.  During the year we will work with your child to learn and understand their individual needs and support them in their learning and development.  We believe that communication is integral to your child’s success. Class teachers are available both before and after school to receive messages and celebrate successes.
