Welcome to Year 4

Our teaching team includes Mr Allaby, Mrs Hampton-Joyce and Miss Bailey (Class Teachers), Mrs Van Spelde and Mrs Cheetham (Cover Teachers) and Mrs Hollingworth (Teaching Assistant).

• ‘Be The Change: Poems to help you save the world’ by Roger Stevens, Matt Goodfellow and Liz Brownlee

• ‘Greek Myths: Meet the Heroes, Gods and Monsters’ by Jean Menzies

Important information for Year 4:

• We are timetabled to have PE every Wednesday and Friday. Swimming will commence in the Spring/Summer term, dates TBC.
• This term we will visit the school library every week so please remember to have your library book in your school bag. Please also remember to have your Reading Record in your bag each day for our Guided Reading sessions.
• Home Learning is sent home on a Wednesday, due for the following Monday.
• Spellings are sent home on a Wednesday and will be tested each Wednesday so please ensure your Spelling book is in your bag for this.
